Team Tykhe Logo Contest

Team Tykhe, a Talent and Event Management company is seeking company logo to be used for advertising, merchandise and other miscellaneous company related items.  Winning entry will receive a $100 cash prize and an exhibition booth at the Tykhe MMA Explosion on May 24th 2008 in Tampa Florida. 

All submissions must be sent via e-mail to Marketing@TeamTykhe.com. Please scan all hand drafted work, hard copy materials will not be accepted.

HOW TO ENTER:

(1) ONLINE ENTRY: To enter the Tykhe L.L.C. Logo Design Contest ("Contest") via online entry, submit your original logo design to marketing@teamtykhe.com.  The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on February 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2008 ("Promotional Time Period"). All entries must be received before 11:59 p.m. ET on April 1, 2008. Entries received online after March 31, 2008 will not be eligible.

ELIGIBILITY
Participating entrants must be 17 years of age or older, and a legal resident and citizen of the 50 United States (includes the District of Columbia). Employees of Tykhe L.L.C., and their affiliates, sales representatives, promotion, and other vendor agencies involved in this Sweepstakes and the households and immediate family members (defined for the purposes of this Sweepstakes as a parent, spouse, child, and sibling) of such employees and their children are not eligible.  Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where taxed, prohibited, or restricted by law.

JUDGING CRITERIA/WINNER SELECTION
This is not a game of chance. Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of entries received.  Grand Prize winner will be chosen based on the creativity, quality and applicability of an original logo design.  On or about April 1, 2008 through April 15, 2008, entries will be judged by, and winner selected by Tykhe L.L.C. management, subject to verification of eligibility.  An entry will be disqualified, regardless of creativity, quality and applicability (i) if it is not consistent with Tykhe’s reputation in the marketplace, including its reputation for quality and integrity, (ii) if it does not reflect the goals of the promotion, (iii) if any language of the entry is not suitable for all ages, (iv) or if the entry is so deficient in grammar, spelling, sentence structure or content as to be unclear or inappropriate.  Submissions must be the entrant's original creation. Previously published artwork, copyrighted work, or replicas of existing artwork will be disqualified. Entry cannot defame or invade the rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any third party's personal or proprietary rights.

All entries become the property of Tykhe L.L.C. and Tykhe L.L.C. shall hold all copyright, ownership, title, and right thereto. An entrant's submission of an entry constitutes permission for Tykhe L.L.C. to use the entrant's name, submissions, and other material provided in the entry for any purpose, including for promotional purposes in any media without compensation. As a condition of acceptance of the prize, which shall constitute full and sufficient consideration, potential final winners must grant an unrestricted copyright license of the winning entry, audio, sound bites, photographs, and video to Tykhe L.L.C., or alternate winner will be chosen.

PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: One (1) Grand Prize: A $100 cash prize and complimentary exhibition booth at the Tykhe MMA Explosion in Tampa on May 21^st 2008.  The cash prize will be awarded to the winner.  The complimentary exhibition booth at the 2008 Tykhe MMA Explosion includes a 10’ x 10’ exhibition booth (retail value $350).  The cash payment has been based on a 34% tax rate, and is intended to cover any federal or state obligation. Any additional tax obligation that the winner may be liable for is the sole responsibility of the winner. The Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize is $450.  The exhibition booth will be used on May 21, 2008 and the Grand Prize winner will attend on the said date as designated by the Tykhe L.L.C.  Grand Prize winner must be able to staff the booth on the date specified, or the exhibit booth portion of prize will be forfeited. Exhibition booth is not mandatory to receive the cash portion of the prize; however, no cash value of the exhibition booth will be awarded if the exhibition booth is not used.

Tykhe L.L.C. is not responsible for postponement or cancellation of the MMA Explosion.  If, for any reason, the scheduled event and any aforementioned activities do not occur, the exhibition booth will be awarded during the next Tykhe L.L.C. sponsored exhibition event.  Tykhe L.L.C. will comply with all tax reporting obligations. The winner must provide Tykhe L.L.C. with certain tax information that is required by IRS regulations. The winner will receive a form 1099-Misc from Tykhe L.L.C. that will state the value of the prize. No prize will be awarded to a potential winner who fails to meet all criteria, and alternate winner will be chosen. No substitution or transfer of prize is allowed except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of the same approximate retail value. Prize consists only of items specifically listed as part of the prize. No cash substitutions will be allowed.

GRAND PRIZE WINNER: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected on or about April 15, 2008. Winners will be selected by a judging panel consisting of representatives from Tykhe L.L.C.  Online and mail-in entries will serve as an initial selection tool and for verification of entrant information and eligibility. Tykhe L.L.C. reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to choose alternate winners if information contained in the application cannot be verified to the satisfaction of Tykhe L.L.C. The potential winners will be notified on or about April 15, 2008, by a phone call and/or express mail to the address listed on the application/entry form.

Potential Grand Prize winner must execute an affidavit of eligibility, a mutually acceptable liability and publicity release, a personal services agreement, and copyright assignment within five (5) calendar days of notification or the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate may be selected. Federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners.

If the Grand Prize winner is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence (an "eligible minor"), the prize may be awarded in the name of, or to, the winner's parent/legal guardian, who must execute all documents and agree to all obligations and undertakings of winner, both on behalf of himself/herself and winner, or prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. 

ONLINE ENTRY: This Contest is intended for viewing in the United States only and is governed by applicable U.S. law. If you are not a legal resident of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia), you are not eligible and may not participate in this promotion. If for any reason the online portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Tykhe L.L.C., which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Tykhe L.L.C. reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest at any time.  Repetitive automated electronic submission of entries is prohibited, and any such entries will be disqualified. Tykhe L.L.C. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized appearance of qualification of prize. Tykhe L.L.C. is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online system, server or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Tykhe L.L.C. due to technical problems or traffic, congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, Tykhe L.L.C. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGE FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

GENERAL RULES: Entrants agree to accept and abide by the rules of this Contest and agree that any dispute with regard to the conduct of the Contest, rule interpretation or award of prizes, shall be submitted to TYKHE L.L.C., whose decisions shall be binding and final. By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Tykhe L.L.C., affiliates, subsidiaries, service agencies, independent contractors, and the officers, directors, employees, investors, agents and representatives of any of the above organizations from any injury, loss or damage to person, including death or property, due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly, due to the acceptance from or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any promotion-related activity. Tykhe L.L.C. is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of prizes. In the event Tykhe L.L.C. is prevented from continuing with this promotion, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the promotion is severely undermined by any event beyond Tykhe L.L.C.'s control, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Tykhe L.L.C.'s control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), Tykhe L.L.C. shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion without further obligation. If Tykhe L.L.C., in its discretion, elects to abbreviate or cancel the promotion as a result of a Force Majeure event, Tykhe L.L.C. reserves the right, but not the obligation, to award the prize from among all eligible entries received up to the date of such Force Majeure event. All entries belong to Tykhe L.L.C. and are not returnable.
